My partner and I moved to St. John’s from Ottawa and have been having so much trouble finding quality shawarma like we used to get at home. This was by FAR the best shawarma we’ve had here! Extremely friendly staff, generous portions, reasonable pricing & very tasty wraps! We will only be getting our shawarma here from now on

I ordered the fattoush and chicken shawarma wrap tonight on door dash, and everything was great. The salad was fresh, and the shawarma wrap was great. My boyfriend and I shared these and we feel so full and happy. I wonder where these guys get their produce. Because it's better than I can find in the stores.

If you haven't tried Syriana Cuisine on Empire Ave, holy moly! Get on it! When trying new places, I like to try a few things, plus I wanted leftovers for tomorrow. Did the falafal wrap and the shwarma meal to go. Both were beyond fantastic. Also, I have a very healthy appetite and I didnt eat a quarter of each, and I'm stuffed. The falafal wrap was longer than my forearm, for real. Unreal value, unreal taste! Support this restaurant!!!

The most caring and humble family preparing delicious and satisfying meals. Everything we have had has been absolutely yummy and flavourful and very affordable. The owner has a passion for kindness and a heart of gold that comes through in her meals. What a gem here in the west end by Mundy Pond.

I’m the pickiest person when it comes to shawarma and Syriana is my go to spot. When they first opened there was a heavier nutmeg taste I don’t notice now which I find a bit better though I loved it regardless. The shawarma bowl is excellent and like the wrap a large portion with delicious rice. I recommend Syriana to anybody that enjoys shawarma!
